The Journey
It began in Pretoria, South Africa. A colourful group of young creatives began the concept of the works. A unique lifestyle brand that aims to further the beauty of a developing Africa.
The Works is a street styled Industrial Cafe. The space incorporates traditional industrial design with a modern touch of unique African twist.
The Works aims to empower the community by giving local artists and creators a place where they can express themselves without boundaries.
ICW is also actively involved in providing training to people from disadvantaged communities. We provide these young men and women with skills that will benefit them in the restaurant industry – barista training, waiter training, etc – and we hope that these skills will ultimately lead them to better job opportunities in the future, and even aid them in starting their own businesses one day.
